One killed, two injured in Russian strike on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region Photo

At least one person has been killed and two others injured following a Russian attack on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Authorities said residential areas of Balakliya in the Izium district were struck, causing damage to apartment buildings, private homes, an educational institution, and several vehicles, Caliber.Az reports.

Emergency services reported that rescue workers extinguished three separate fires at different locations following the strikes.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs said it was continuing to assess the full extent of the damage.
