Online platform for Azerbaijani youth goes live in United States
A new digital platform, Bizim Circle, has been launched to strengthen social and professional connections among Azerbaijani youth living and studying in the United States, according to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.
The platform enables users to organise campaigns and events on various topics, share announcements and career opportunities, communicate in real time, and build communities based on shared interests and professional fields, Caliber.Az reports.
The initiative was launched by Ilyas Valiyev, a student at George Mason University and head of the Azerbaijani youth organisation operating at the university. Co-founders of the project include Tahmina Mehdiyeva, a graduate of Columbia University and current Microsoft employee, as well as Diana Hajiyeva, a graduate of Imperial College London, and Zarina Majidova, a graduate of the University of California, Davis.
The platform is expected to expand in its next phase to include Azerbaijanis living not only in the United States but also in other countries worldwide.
