Opposition to hold rally in Yerevan on May 12
In Yerevan, the opposition plans to assemble for a rally on May 12.
Bagrat Galstanyan, revanchist archbishop and leader of the Tavush in the Name of Motherland movement announced at a recent gathering that another protest rally will take place in the heart of Yerevan on Sunday, according to TASS.
"It is necessary to develop and formulate a clear concept of demarcation and delimitation, and the holding of peace talks and the continuity of these talks by Sunday evening," he said.
He outlined plans for peaceful acts of civil disobedience across ten different locations in Yerevan and its surrounding regions on the following day. The archbishop then called for a gathering at Republic Square on Sunday at 18:30, where decisions regarding future actions will be made.
