Orphaned fawn rescued by border guards in Azerbaijan’s Gubadli district VIDEO

A lone orphaned fawn has been rescued by officers of Azerbaijan’s State Border Service in the Gubadli district. 

The animal was found by the roadside and appeared to have been left without its mother. Border guards took the fawn into care and transferred it to a nursery, where it is being fed and monitored, Caliber.Az reports.

The young deer will remain under supervision until it grows stronger and is capable of surviving independently in the wild.
