OTS Council of Elders chair to attend Global Baku Forum

Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and former Prime Minister of Türkiye, is set to visit Azerbaijan to attend the 12th Global Baku Forum.

The forum, is a major international event that brings together global leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss key global issues, Caliber.Az reports.

The 12th edition of the Global Baku Forum, the flagship event of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from March 13 to 15, 2025. This year’s theme is “Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities.”

The forum is set to attract over 400 participants, including current and former heads of state and government, Nobel Laureates, leaders from international organizations, and civil society representatives.

As in previous years, the NGIC aims to bring together the wisdom and experience of its distinguished members and participants for an open and free-flowing debate. The goal is to reflect on the lessons of the past, assess the current state of affairs, and explore the future.

Over the course of its 11-year history, the Global Baku Forum has seen participation from more than 100 heads of state and government, Nobel Laureates, and over 4,000 other high-level representatives from governments, international organizations, and civil society. The forum has consistently focused on finding solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
