Over 300 trucks return to Lithuania after Belarus detention

As of March 30, more than 300 Lithuanian trucks previously detained in Belarus have returned to Lithuania, LRT reports, citing the country's state border service.
From the start of last week until March 30, a total of 331 trucks returned from Minsk to Lithuania. VSAT spokesperson Gedrius Misutis noted that roughly every fifth or sixth truck entering the country is one returning from Belarusian parking lots.
Earlier, on March 20, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko promised that, starting March 23, Lithuanian trucks stranded in Belarus would begin to be returned.
