Over 40 countries condemn Iran's attack on Israel

Iran's attack on Israel has been condemned by 49 countries, in particular, the US by making a joint statement on this issue.

Proceeding from the countries' joint statement, these countries unequivocally condemn the attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its militant partners on Israel by using hundreds of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones, Interfax reports.

The signatories called on all parties to the conflict and regional countries to take steps to prevent further escalation.

Iran attacked Israel in response to an attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria at night on April 13. During the five-hour attack, Iran launched 185 drones, 30 cruise missiles and 120 ballistic missiles towards Israel.
