Over tonne of wild-growing cannabis destroyed in liberated Lachin

More than 1.25 tonnes of wild-growing cannabis plants have been destroyed in the liberated Lachin district's Zabukh village.

Wild hemp bushes were discovered in Zabukh on the bank of the self-named river as a result of joint efforts by officials from the Lachin district police and the State Border Guard Service, Report informs, citing the Barda regional group of the Interior Ministry’s press service.

Thus, 2,850 cannabis bushes weighing 1,250 kg growing wild in the mentioned territory were uprooted, collected and burnt.
