02 May 2024 20:54

Pakistan is among the countries willing to buy Chinese drones.

Pakistan plans to purchase 10 more Cai Hong-4 (CH-4) Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) worth $24 million from China, Caliber.Az reports citing the message of SavunmaSanayiST.com posted on X.

Pakistan uses the Turkish Anka, Bayraktar TB2, Akinci, its own domestically produced Shapar-II drone, the Chinese Wing Loong II, and the CH-4, which are used either in combat or reconnaissance operations.

CH-4A is a reconnaissance drone (capable of 3,500-5,000 km range and 30-40 hour endurance) while the CH-4B is a mixed attack and a reconnaissance system for six weapons and a payload of up to 345 kg. Maximum takeoff weight is 1,330 to 1,350 kg.
