Pakistan, Bangladesh FMs discuss Middle East tensions in phone call

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has held a phone conversation with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry reported on X.
The ministers expressed concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East, noting that the tensions could negatively impact regional peace and stability, as well as international affairs.
Both sides emphasised their commitment to strengthening Pakistan–Bangladesh ties and agreed to continue active cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.
