Pakistan, IAEA call for implementation of US-Iran agreements

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi have called for the implementation of agreements reached between Iran and the United States, saying this would provide the most effective path toward easing regional tensions.

The issue was discussed during a telephone conversation between Dar and Grossi, Caliber.Az reports, citing Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry's post on X.

The two officials also stressed the importance of trilateral consultations involving Pakistan as a mediator in efforts to advance the agreements between Tehran and Washington.

Grossi expressed his readiness to provide the necessary expert and technical assistance to support implementation of the agreements reached.

During the call, Dar also wished Grossi success in his campaign to become the next United Nations secretary-general.
