Pakistan investigates Indian drone incidents after multiple downings in key provinces
Pakistani authorities have discovered the wreckage of Indian drones following separate incidents in the provinces of Gujranwala, Gujarat, and Chakwal.
According to reports from Samaa.tv, Pakistan's air defence system shot down an Indian drone early in the morning in Gujranwala, with the wreckage found in Solhanabad. The debris was collected and sent to a laboratory for analysis.
In Gujarat, explosions were heard late at night in the suburb of Pir-Jand, where local law enforcement officials located four drone fragments scattered throughout the area. One of the pieces pierced the roof of a house owned by a local resident, identified as Nawaz. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either of the two incidents. However, authorities are actively investigating the origin of the drones and their intended purpose.
Additionally, local police reported that another drone crashed near Diwalian in the Dhammam area of Chakwal. No casualties have been reported in this incident either. The authorities have taken possession of the drone fragments and launched an inquiry into the cause of the crash.
In all cases, immediate actions are being taken to understand the circumstances surrounding these drone downings.
