Pakistan, Kuwait foreign ministers discuss regional situation
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, held a late-night conversation on March 1o with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, head of Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Both sides expressed serious concern over recent regional developments, particularly attacks targeting Kuwait.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the leadership and people of Kuwait and emphasised the urgent need for dialogue and de-escalation to promote peace and stability in the region.
The ministers also exchanged views on issues being considered in the UN Security Council and reaffirmed the “historically brotherly” relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
