Pakistan, Oman discuss situation in Middle East
Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a phone conversation with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq, discussing the evolving situation in the Middle East, the Prime Minister’s press office announced in a post on X.
"[...] the two leaders exchanged greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eid, conveying their best wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being to the peoples of both countries and the Muslim Ummah," Caliber.Az cites the post.

During the call, they discussed the regional situation, expressed solidarity with those affected by recent attacks, and emphasised the importance of maintaining peace, stability, and constructive dialogue.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and discussed the possibility of official reciprocal visits at mutually convenient times.
In this context, the prime minister once again invited the Sultan of Oman to make an official visit to Pakistan at a time suitable for him.
