Pakistan says it wants peace in Bangladesh

Pakistani Foreign Ministry has said the Pakistani government and people express solidarity with the citizens of Bangladesh and call for a peaceful resolution of tensions.

"The government and people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh. Islamabad hopes for a quick and peaceful return of this country to normalcy," the foreign ministry said in a press release, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

“We are confident that the resilient spirit and unity of the people of Bangladesh will lead them to a harmonious future," the statement said.
