Pakistan strongly condemns US, Israeli strikes on Iran

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned US and Israeli strikes on Iran, calling for an immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomatic negotiations.

In a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, Dar described the attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran as unwarranted and baseless. He reiterated Islamabad’s firm opposition to actions that could further inflame tensions in the region, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Dar emphasised the need for an urgent resumption of diplomacy to achieve a peaceful and negotiated resolution to the crisis.
