Pakistani national killed in Abu Dhabi after missile interception
Authorities in Abu Dhabi have confirmed that a Pakistani national was killed after debris fell in a residential area following the interception of an incoming aerial threat.
According to an official statement published by the Abu Dhabi media office on X, the incident occurred in the Baniyas district after air defence systems intercepted a ballistic missile, as per Caliber.Az.
The interception caused debris to fall to the ground, leading to the fatality.

Officials did not provide further details about the nature of the threat or the extent of any additional damage, but confirmed that one Pakistani citizen died as a result of the incident.
Authorities also urged residents to rely only on official sources for information and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified reports as the situation continues to be assessed.
