Palestine to launch temporary committee for Gaza management

The Palestinian government is set to announce the establishment of a temporary committee tasked with managing the Gaza Strip, signaling a new phase in governance for the region.

Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa confirmed this development during a press briefing near the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“We will soon announce the formation of a temporary committee to manage Gaza,” Mustafa stated, underscoring the imminent formalization of this administrative body.

He further clarified that the committee will operate under the oversight of the Palestinian Authority, aiming to ensure continuity and coordinated governance amidst ongoing challenges in the Gaza Strip.
