Palestinian MFA calls for urgent international action to protect civilians in Gaza City
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has called for immediate and exceptional international intervention to protect civilians in Gaza City, describing the ongoing conflict as a grave threat to the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.
In a statement on X, the ministry condemned what it called the “boasting” of Israeli officials over the invasion of Gaza City, warning that such actions deliberately endanger civilians and risk turning the city into a “mass graveyard," Caliber.Az reports.

The statement said the broader Gaza Strip has already become largely uninhabitable, with nearly one million Palestinians facing displacement within a “tight circle of death.”
“The failure of international diplomacy to halt the war is suspicious and unjustified,” the Ministry said, emphasising the urgent need for global action.
The Ministry demanded that the international community take extraordinary measures to end the hostilities, ensure the protection of civilians, prevent further displacement, secure the immediate release of hostages and prisoners, and facilitate sustainable delivery of humanitarian aid in accordance with the New York Declaration.
