Palestinian resistance eliminates 15 Israeli soldiers in Rafah
Palestinian Resistance factions continue to confront the Israeli occupation forces across multiple battlefronts, particularly in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip and Jabalia. They continue to target Israeli soldiers and their vehicles, engaging in intense confrontations and wielding a variety of weapons.
The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, declared that they successfully eliminated 15 Israeli soldiers. Their operation involved storming a house where a significant number of soldiers were fortified, confronting them with machine guns and grenades. The operations peaked with the detonation of an anti-personnel device in the al-Tanour neighborhood, east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen reports.
This Resistance operation comes amid ongoing confrontations with the occupation forces storming east of the city of Rafah.
In a related development, the al-Qassam Brigades reported that they successfully targeted an Israeli Merkava 4 tank using an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the al-Tanour neighborhood, located east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, the movement announced in a separate statement that they launched mortar shells targeting Israeli occupation forces at the Rafah land crossing.
Meanwhile, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades declared that they unleashed a barrage of heavy mortar shells, targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles near the "al-Tabe'in Mosque" east of Rafah, situated in the southern region of the Gaza Strip.
