Paris Saint-Germain victory turns tragic in France as car plows into celebrating fans
01 June 2025 13:08
In Grenoble, France, a high-speed vehicle struck a group of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) fans who were celebrating the team’s UEFA Champions League triumph.
The incident left four people injured—two women and two men—after the car veered onto central tram tracks and collided with the crowd, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Initial findings suggest the driver did not act deliberately. The PSG team will hold a victory parade on the Champs-Elysees in Paris on June 1 when tens of thousands of supporters are expected to gather to get a glimpse of their returning team. Macron's office said he would host the victorious players on June 1 to congratulate them.
