Pentagon: Ukraine to receive first F-16s fighter jets in 2024

United States Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs has said that the Pentagon eyes to provide Ukraine with the first F-16 fighters, as well as the corresponding infrastructure and spare parts in 2024.

“We are working as a coalition on the F-16 program and are committed to achieving initial operational readiness for Ukraine with its F-16 program in 2024,” Wallander said, European Pravda reports.

The program covers pilot training, platforms, technician training, and spare parts and ammunition, a Pentagon spokeswoman said.
