Pentagon vows support to Ukraine as long as necessary

A meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format with the participation of about 50 states will be held in Germany next week.

The statement came from US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin during a press conference in Washington, RBC-Ukriane reports.

"We will support Ukraine for as long as it is necessary, and from what I can tell, our allies and partners feel the same way. Therefore, we remain the only ones in our efforts," Austin stressed.

First, the meeting will discuss what Kyiv needs most now and what it needs to succeed in the future.
