PM: Moldova connects its future with EU
Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean has said that the future of the Republic of Moldova is connected with the European Union.
Recean made these remarks at the “Diplomatic Dialogue for the Western Balkans” session, organised on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Caliber.Az reports citing the Moldovan media.
"The future of the Republic of Moldova, as well as Ukraine, Georgia and the Western Balkans, is connected with the European Union," Recean noted.
The prime minister, in particular, spoke about Chisinau’s European policy and the reforms being carried out by the authorities to modernise the Republic of Moldova following the example of the EU member states.
Recean emphasised Moldova's openness to regional cooperation and the search for new ways of cooperation with the Western Balkans.
“The future of the Republic of Moldova, as well as Ukraine, Georgia and the Western Balkans, is connected with the European Union. To achieve this goal, each country must pay attention to the quality of reforms and focus on good preparation for each stage of negotiations,” he added.
