Poland approves commission to investigate Russian influence
The Polish Sejm has approved a commission to investigate Russian influence.
MPs from the Civic Coalition, the Left Party, the Polish Coalition-PSL and other parliamentary factions did not take part in the vote. Members of the opposition Confederation Party did vote, RMF informs.
Only members of the ruling party voted in favour of approving the commission.
There were nine members of the commission. All of them are members of the ruling Law and Justice party. They included Andrzej Zibertowicz, advisor to President Mateusz Morawiecki, Przemysław Żurawski, chairman of the Security and Defence Council in the president's office, historian Sławomir Cenckiewicz, Łukasz Cięgotura, Michał Wojnowski, Józef Brynkus, Marek Szymaniak, Arkadiusz Puławski and Andrzej Kowalski.
