Poland completes construction of wall on border with Belarus

Poland has completed the construction of a wall on the border with Belarus.

The announcement came on Twitter by the representative of the Polish special services Stanislav Zarin.

“Illegal entry into Poland is currently completely blocked. The Polish border is the most secure in Europe,” he said.

Earlier, the Polish authorities reported that 49,000 tons of steel were used to build the wall. It was also planned to equip the border fence with 2.5 thousand surveillance cameras.
