Poland to send next batch of Leopard tanks to Ukraine soon

Poland plans to deliver the rest of the promised Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine within a few weeks.

The announcement came from Polish Prime Minister's Office Michal Dworczyk in a commentary to the local news service PAP.

"The training of Ukrainian crews is nearing completion. Some of these tanks are now being used during training... This is a several-week prospect," Dworczyk said.
He also said Poland will hand over its PT-91 tanks and Soviet T-72 tanks to Ukraine within weeks, "if not sooner".

Last week, Poland handed over four Leopard 2 tanks in the first batch to Ukraine.
