Poland, Ukraine to sign drone tech cooperation deal
Poland and Ukraine are preparing to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle technologies.
Polish Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated during a visit to Kyiv that the document will support the development of joint initiatives and the training of military personnel using Ukrainian experience with drones on the battlefield, as reported by RMF24.
Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasised that implementing the knowledge gained in Ukraine is key to the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO as a whole.
He also emphasised the importance of developing the NATO-Ukraine Analysis, Training, and Education Centre (JATEC) in Bydgoszcz, Poland, a unique institution directly linking the Alliance with Ukraine.
The minister noted Kyiv's willingness to cooperate and emphasised that emotions in relations between countries should not influence strategic goals.
"The enemy is elsewhere, and looking for it within us is a mistake," he emphasised.
