Polish armed forces scramble all jets amid Russian strikes on Ukraine

Poland’s Operational Command of the Armed Forces announced that Polish and allied aircraft have been deployed in its airspace following strikes by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory.

According to the statement posted on X, the Operational Commander has activated all available forces and resources, with duty fighter jets scrambled and ground-based air defence and radar systems placed on maximum alert, Caliber.Az reports.

The measures are intended to ensure security in areas bordering regions currently under threat. The command emphasised that all subordinate units remain in full readiness for immediate response as the situation continues to be closely monitored.
