Polish farmers block traffic on border with Germany

Polish farmers, dissatisfied with the government's agricultural policy, blocked truck traffic on the A2 highway on the border with Germany.

According to RMF FM radio station, the protesting agrarians deliberately brought their tractors to the Polish-German border. The Polish citizens placed them in such a way that only small cars could pass along the highway, RMF FM Radio reports.

So, drivers of trucks used for transportation of goods have to find ways of detour. According to the media, the protest is expected to last until lunchtime. However, some farmers threatened to block the highway for several months, if the country's leadership fail to react.
