Polish PM holds emergency meeting following cyberattacks on energy infrastructure

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an emergency meeting on January 15 in response to a series of cyberattacks targeting the country’s energy infrastructure.
Government sources said that there have been attempts at sabotage in recent weeks, aimed at destabilising Poland’s energy system, Caliber.Az reports per the PM's X page.

Energy Minister Milos Motyka noted that several power generation facilities were targeted by unsuccessful cyberattacks at the end of 2025.
Authorities are expected to unveil a plan of preventive measures and actions designed to protect the nation’s energy system from future attacks.
