Powerful 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolts El Salvador

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck El Salvador’s Usulután Department, the country’s Ministry of Environment said in a post on X.
The epicentre was located 69 kilometres southwest of the city of Chirilagua. The earthquake originated at a depth of 56 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports.
No tsunami warning was issued.
