President Mohamed bin Zayed: UAE lives in state of war

The United Arab Emirates is living in a state of war, President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared in his first public statement since the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East.

Speaking in a video released by Sky News Arabia, he vowed to fulfil the country’s obligations to protect its citizens and territory, promising that the UAE will emerge stronger. He also praised the role of the UAE armed forces in carrying out their missions.
