Putin bust beheaded in Denmark shortly after being unveiled

A bust of Russian President Vladimir Putin in a park in Aarhus, Denmark, was vandalised just hours after it was installed as part of an advertising campaign by local radio station Radio IIII, Danish broadcaster TV2 reports.

According to the broadcaster, an Aarhus municipal employee discovered on August 10 that the head of the Putin bust had been removed from its pedestal in the park. 

The pedestal and the remaining part of the sculpture were handed over to the radio station.

The station said it is currently trying to determine the whereabouts of the missing part of the sculpture. It also urged listeners to come forward if they have any information about the incident or the location of the bust’s head.
