Qatar arrests 10 suspected Iranian spies

Two members of the cells were reportedly “acting on behalf of” the IRGC in Qatar, CNN reports, citing Qatar News Agency (QNA).

QNA reported that seven of the 10 suspects were tasked with monitoring Qatar’s military facilities, while the remaining three were assigned to carry out “acts of sabotage” and had been trained to operate drones.

“They also possessed information on the locations and coordinates of critical facilities and installations, communications equipment, and technological assets,” QNA said.
