Qatar condemns Iranian attack on Saudi residential area, expresses solidarity

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned an Iranian attack on a residential complex in Al-Harj, Saudi Arabia, which killed two civilians and injured several others, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X.

"Qatar categorically rejects the justifications presented by the Islamic Republic of Iran for attacks on countries in the region and emphasises the need to adhere to international law, the principles of good neighbourliness, and to avoid actions that could escalate regional tensions," Caliber.Az quotes the Ministry's post.

The Ministry said Qatar expresses full solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and supports all measures it takes to ensure its security and stability.

"We offer sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Saudi Arabia and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured."
