Qatar condemns Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, describing them as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to take responsibility for compelling the Israeli occupying authorities to halt repeated attacks on Lebanon and ensure their compliance with international conventions and laws. The Ministry reaffirms the firm position of the State of Qatar regarding the brotherly Lebanese Republic, its unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and expresses full support for all efforts aimed at strengthening its stability and prosperity,” the  Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on X.
