Reconnaissance drone washes ashore on Bulgarian beach

A reconnaissance drone has been found washed ashore on a beach in the Bulgarian town of Primorsko, Bulgarian National Television (BNT) reported on Friday, August 14.

“Specialists from the Burgas naval base examined the unmanned aerial vehicle washed ashore by the sea on a beach in Primorsko. The inspection showed that it was a reconnaissance drone,” BNT reported.

Additional parts of the unmanned aircraft were found on a beach near the village of Lozenets.

Military personnel recovered the objects and transported them to naval bases in Varna and Burgas for examination.
