Red Cross, Hamas search for Israeli hostage remains in northern Gaza

Teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross and members of Hamas’s military wing have launched a joint operation to locate the remains of an Israeli hostage in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. 

The search is taking place in an area currently under Hamas control on the northern side of the Gaza ceasefire line, Caliber.Az reports via Israeli media. 

Two hostages killed during the October 7, 2023 attack are still believed to be in Gaza: Israeli police officer Master Sgt. Ran Gvili and Sudthisak Rinthalak, a Thai agricultural worker.
