Reps of western countries to gather to coordinate military assistance to Ukraine

The representatives of more than 40 countries will meet at the US Ramstein military base in Germany on April 26 to discuss the issue of rendering military support to Ukraine. 

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley said that the main task of the negotiations is the synchronization and coordination of military assistance to Kyiv, Voice of America reports. 

Milley said that the next few weeks may be decisive. 

While commenting on the chances of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to win, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that Ukraine is able to win if it has the proper weapons and the proper support. 

US officials think that Russia is using powerful artillery, trying to break through the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 

According to the US estimates, many Russian military units suffered great losses, and some lost up to 30 percent of their personnel. However, Russia is still having an advantage in military power, personnel and demonstrates its intention to continue the war. 

The US has no doubt that the Kremlin is capable of financing a military campaign despite Western economic sanctions.
