Exiled crown prince: “Now is the time to reclaim Iran” Address to Iranians
Exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi has issued a bold message to the Iranian people, declaring that the Islamic Republic is in its final days and that Iran is on the verge of a historic transformation.
"The Islamic Republic has reached its end and is in the process of collapsing. What has begun is irreversible," Pahlavi said in a video address to the nation through his X page on June 17, Caliber.Az reports.
"The future is bright, and together, we will pass through this sharp turn in history. Now is the time to rise; the time to reclaim Iran. May we be together soon," Reza Pahlavi stated.
Pahlavi, the son of the late Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was overthrown during the 1979 Islamic Revolution, has long been an outspoken critic of the current regime. Living in exile for over four decades, he has gained renewed attention in recent years as anti-government sentiment in Iran has intensified amid economic hardship, repression, and calls for democratic reform.
For the record, Reza Pahlavi, now based in the United States, has consistently stated that he does not seek to restore monarchy but rather envisions a secular, democratic Iran where the people determine the form of government through free elections.
