Romanian rescuers recover two Ukrainians from frozen Carpathians VIDEO

Romanian mountain rescue teams have located and evacuated two Ukrainian nationals in the Carpathian Mountains after they spent several nights exposed to freezing temperatures following an illegal border crossing.
The incident was announced by journalist Vitaliy Glagola, UNIAN Telegram channel reports.
Rescue officials stated that the men’s clothing was completely soaked as a result of persistent precipitation and heavy snow accumulation. Suffering from hypothermia and severe exhaustion, the two were barely able to move on their own.
The evacuation operation lasted more than three hours, after which the Ukrainian citizens were transferred into the care of medical personnel to receive the necessary treatment.
