Rubio announces significant breakthrough in Iran negotiations

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that significant progress has been achieved in negotiations with Iran and indicated that further updates are expected later in the day.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Rubio said developments were advancing, while noting that no final agreement has been reached.

Rubio added that he believes there will be news on the situation with Iran later today and that he would leave it to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to make further comments on the matter.
