Russia again attacks Zaporizhstal steel plant, Ukrainian official says VIDEO
Russia has again attacked the Zaporizhstal steel plant in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, according to Musa Magomedov, head of the Verkhovna Rada’s subcommittee on industrial policy.
“Five missiles struck the same location where plant workers were killed in a previous strike on August 11 in Zaporizhzhia,” Magomedov said.
He added that it remains unclear when Zaporizhstal will be able to resume operations.
The latest attack follows a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia on the night of August 11, when Russia launched 10 ballistic missiles and four aerial bombs at the city.
Zaporizhstal, the city’s largest enterprise, suspended operations following that attack. Seven plant workers were killed, and another 24 people were hospitalised.
