Russia attacks Pavlohrad in Ukraine: One dead, several injured PHOTO
Russian forces launched a drone strike on the city of Pavlohrad in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region in the early hours of Friday (December 12). A 71-year-old local resident was killed in the attack.
The regional military administration reported that four others were injured. Among them, a 54-year-old woman is in serious condition after sustaining severe burns.
The strikes caused large fires, engulfing five private houses, one of which was completely destroyed. Emergency services quickly brought all the fires under control.
In addition, a drone strike ignited a fire at a garage extension in the Vasylkiv community of Synelnykove district.
On December 11, Russian forces continued shelling the Nikopol district, damaging a private house and a vehicle in the town centre and in the Pokrovska community.
Ukrainian air defences shot down six Russian drones over the region.
