Russia bans Polish NGOs, accusing them of anti-state activities
The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has declared the activities of three Polish non-governmental organisations (NGOs) — the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, Fundacja Wolność i Demokracja, and Fundacja im. Stefana Batorego — as “undesirable” in Russia.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, investigations revealed that the organisations operate under the patronage of Polish authorities, the Council of Europe, and NATO structures, effectively implementing policies directed against Russia.
The Russian authorities claim that the NGOs develop strategies aimed at military and economic containment of Russia, information warfare, and the expansion of sanctions.
The office also accused the foundations of actively cooperating with members of the radical opposition, foreign agents, and other organisations deemed undesirable in Russia.
