Russia, China reaffirm strategic alignment in Beijing talks PHOTO
On February 2–3, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov hold consultations in Beijing with Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu and Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin.
The consultations featured a comprehensive exchange of views on the multifaceted partnership between the two countries within the framework of BRICS, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian Foreign Ministry.
Both sides emphasized the importance of India’s chairmanship in advancing three key areas of cooperation: politics and security, economy and finance, and cultural-humanitarian ties.
In addition, the discussions addressed a broad range of pressing issues, including strategic stability, arms control, and non-proliferation.
The meetings concluded with recognition of the close convergence of Russia and China’s positions in these areas, alongside a renewed commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and strategic coordination.
