Russia confirms Slovak PM Fico to attend Moscow May 9 parade

Russia has confirmed that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will attend the military parade in Moscow on May 9, according to the Kremlin.

Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, said Fico would be among the foreign guests at the event, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

He added that other international participants had not yet been finalised.

“Much has been said about Fico, so I can confirm Fico's visit,” Ushakov told journalists when asked about attendance.

No further details have been released regarding the Slovak prime minister’s visit or the programme of his trip.
