Russia downs 18 Ukrainian drones across three regions

Russia's Defence Ministry has reported that air defence systems shot down 18 fixed-wing Ukrainian drones overnight across three regions of the country on August 11.

"Air defence units destroyed 18 fixed-wing UAVs: eleven over the Kursk region, five over the Belgorod region, and two over the Voronezh region," the ministry said, Caliber.Az reports citing the ministry's message on Telegram.

The attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on Russian territory were thwarted on August 11.

Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov has said that power outage leaves residents of 13 settlements without electricity.
