Russia launches massive UAV strike on Ukraine overnight

Russia launched 61 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

As of early morning, Ukrainian air defence forces successfully shot down or suppressed 53 Russian drones, including Shahed and Herbera UAVs, as well as other types of aerial threats, Caliber.Az reports.

These interceptions took place across the northern, central, and eastern parts of Ukraine, effectively preventing further damage in these regions.

However, despite the successful defence efforts, eight of the strike UAVs breached Ukraine’s defences, reaching six separate targets across the country.
